Paraffin treatment is a form of deep heat therapy which involves the application of paraffin warm compresses to the patient’s hands, feet and sore joints and muscles. When cooling down paraffin volume decreases, which results in increased pressure on the tissues. Paraffin therapy provides pain relief, tissue relaxation, and blood vessels dilation which promotes toxins removal.
