Thanks to PIO walking simulator the patient’s posture can get physiologically correct and adapted to almost natural weight of the musculoskeletal system.

Paralyzed lower limbs, supported by certain parts of the simulator, are forced to move synchronically with the upper limbs. As the torso is perfectly stabilised, the patient can work with their upper limbs with ease, thus enabling their posture to be suitable for the simulation to begin. Degenerative changes resulting from long-term immobilisation are stopped, whereas blood transport to the tissues is improved thanks to alternate work of hips, knees and ankles.
